A free, day-long event for lovers of reading and writing. Talk to authors, reporters, bloggers, poets and published writers of all kinds. Writer-led panels about reading, current issues, your questions. Behind the scenes library art & architecture tours.

Join more than 100 Colorado authors in celebrating Readers and Authors in Colorado, and help promote literacy in our state. Meet your favorite authors on the 6th floor of the Denver Public Library; buy books, and get them signed. Enjoy panels on topics from Secrets of Cookbook Chefs: How to Live Well, Love Right, Save Money, Master Flavorings and Cook Better, Too to Why Mysteries are Popular During Fraught Times. Check out Denise Vega, Cheryl Carpinello,  Jolene Gutiérrez, Amy Seto Forrester and Judy Bulow at the I Wanna Read That! How to help children choose a book and/or matching a child’s reading level to a book panel, as well as celebrity reader Anna Jo Haynes, author Denise Vega, and Podcaster Kitty Fielde at the live recording of the Kids Book Club. We invite your kids to read Click Here: How I Survived Seventh Grade, and bring their comments and questions for the microphone! Ti will be a day of book oriented fun!
