Every year the town of Frederick, Colorado hosts Frederick in Flight, a balloon rally for balloonists.
Frederick loves balloons! The town hosts Frederick In Flight each year to bring balloons out enjoy this great flying area. We local pilots have been flying in the Frederick area for the past 30 years and love it. Great flying, many landing options and few red areas. The town offers pilots lodging, travel money, propane, a great pilot pack with pilot AND crew chief gifts, a nice registration dinner with a pilot/sponsor meet-n-greet, a balloon glow and candlestick down the main drag, and a farewell brunch at Pete's Place restaurant after flying on Sunday so the pilot can hit the road with a full tummy and great memories.
