Colorado Day - Free Museum Admission

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 08/01/2020
We wouldn't miss Colorado Day for anything! We're still organizing the party, but we hope you'll mark your calendar now with plans to join. We're finalizing details that offer you both in-person and digital experiences to celebrate this fabulous state. The Centennial State celebrates its 144th birthday on Saturday, August 1. Our annual free day at all eight of our museums throughout the state, including the History Colorado Center in downtown Denver, makes its triumphant return. Visitors will need to reserve their tickets online in advance so that we can manage capacity and keep everyone safe.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Some things to know for this year's celebration:
admission is FREE, but tickets are required to manage capacity
timed entry will be in effect, but once you're in, spend the day
tickets will be available to reserve as of July 18
our normal festivities will be modified for COVID, but we will have a fair amount of digital events and things to do to celebrate
*all* of our museums will be offering free admission
