Free fun for the whole family. Lapidary demonstrations and beautiful exhibits of minerals, gems, fossils, jewelry, and rocks that glow in the dark, plus special activities for the kids.

Fun for the whole family, with beautiful minerals from around the world, ancient fossils, meteorites from outer space, rocks that glow in the dark, and of course magnificent hand-crafted jewelry. Watch skilled lapidary artists cut gems and create beautiful polished stones. Talk with area rockhounds to learn about local fieldtrips and collecting opportunities, and see displays of their recent finds.
Special activities for the kids, including crystal digging, mineral identification, grab bags and a mineral magic show.
Door prizes, free parking and free admission, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Golden Colorado, February 28 – March 1, 2020.
