Visitors will gain insight into the five decades of Women’s Suffrage activism in Colorado through the lens of a diverse range of voices. The exhibit will highlight Colorado’s historic role in granting women the right to vote by popular referendum in 1893, and the many Colorado Suffragists who worked, fought and sacrificed to secure passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920.  Photo: Suffragists outside the National Woman’s Party Headquarters in Colorado Springs, 222 North Tejon Street, 1916, Harry L.
