Celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, the Ram Trucks Invitational Freestyle Reining is celebrating by offering a $25,000 purse to it's exhibitors January 12, 2020!
Reining was developed from the moves a cow horse is asked to do during regular ranch duties. Normal patterns include spins, stops, rollbacks, speed variations and directional changes. Unlike standard reining classes, though, freestyle lets riders use costumes, music, props and lighting to add to their presentations.
