This year’s 20th anniversary tour, the Winter Tour 2018, is a presentation of TSO’s unforgettable “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” featuring founder/composer/lyricist Paul O’Neill’s timeless story of a runaway who finds her way into a mysterious abandoned theater. The national tour is set to begin on November 14 and will visit 65 cities across North America, for 100-plus performances.
KKFM is proud to welcome TSO when they return to The Broadmoor World Arena for The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO and More on Sunday, November 18 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, September 14, 10 a.m. They will be available at The Broadmoor World Arena box office, BroadmoorWorldArena.com, AXS.com or via phone at (719) 520-SHOW. Tickets can also be purchased at the Pikes Peak Center Box office and PikesPeakCenter.com.
A portion of every TSO ticket sold each year benefits select local charities across the country. To date, more than $15 million has been distributed from TSO to worthy charities in the United States. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold for the Broadmoor World Arena event will benefit the Empty Stocking Fund.
Based on TSO’s multi-platinum DVD and long running PBS fundraiser, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” the rock opera features such enduring fan-favorites as "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24," "O’ Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Christmas Canon," "Music Box Blues," "Promises To Keep," and "This Christmas Day." 2018’s tour will also boast a rousing second set containing more of TSO’s greatest hits and fan-pleasers.
Since its historic touring debut, TSO has played more than 1,850 Winter Tour shows for more than 15 million fans, with tour grosses of more than $675 million. The group has also sold 12 million albums and DVDs.
