COVID-19 Policies - 2020

For readers:

As conditions change during the COVID-19 outbreak of 2020, the organizations that have posted to our site may not be able to make it a priority to alter their calendar listings. Therefore, it is especially important that you verify every event posted to our calendar with the organization's own web site to be certain it is still being held. If you are uncertain about the event's status, call the organization directly.

For organizations that post to our site and advertise with us:

COVID-19 refund policy:

We want to stay in business as much as you do. During the COVID-19 outbreak and its aftermath, we are dedicated to helping each community organization spread the word about its events and opportunities, as far and wide as we are able. We will not be able to issue refunds for prepurchased advertising; however, for advertising purchased for specific events that are canceled due to COVID-19, we would be happy to reissue the advertising that you purchased for that event in its entirety, either for when the postponed event is rescheduled, or for something different within your organization. Ads that are for general brand awareness / programs are being seen by an increased number of readers due to more people using our KidsOutAndAbout, and so they are non-refundable. As of March, 2020, we are thinking hard about creative ways that we may be able further to support community organizations during this worldwide crisis and in the months following. Stay tuned!
