Fall Fest

One of the most highly anticipated events in Boulder is the annual Fall Fest on the Pearl Street Mall.  Friday - Sunday, September 10, 11 and 12, 2021, Downtown Boulder will host an ideal family adventure. 

For three days, the Pearl Street Mall, as well as 14th Street between Spruce and Pearl streets, will be filled with arts, crafts and other makers, a beer/wine/margarita garden, live music, children's activities and excitement during the Annual Downtown Boulder Fall Fest.  Friday the event runs from 5 - 9 pm, Saturday from 10 am - 9:30 pm (with activities for families at 9 am) and Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm (with activities for families at 9 am).

Throughout each day of the Festival, visitors will be entertained with a wide range of musical performances by local bands including Jeff & Paige, Foxfeather, The Sweet Lillies, The Goonies and more. Musicians will take the stage in front of the courthouse on the 1300 block of Pearl Street.

The festival features a large beer garden with brews from local Avery Brewing Company, margaritas and wine on the 1300 block of Pearl Street.  Local food to compliment your beverages will be available from Boulder Bowls, Chiri's Momo Delights and McDevitt Taco Supply.

Children's Activities, sponsored by Eldora Mountain Resort, happen throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, with live performances, dance, yoga and movement classes and arts & craft activities.  Check out the Children's Activities for details and times of all the FREE performances, classes and activities.

Fall Fest also features Firefly Handmade Market, Colorado's premier handmade artisan market. Beginning on Friday night (5 - 9 pm) with a preview on Pearl Street Mall, the creatively curated artisan market’s 80+ makers will feature home goods, visual art and design, ceramics, skincare/wellness goods, children's apparel/toys/decor, adult apparel, accessories, jewelry, pet goods, artisanal food and beverages, and more.  The full Market will run from Broadway to 15th streets on the Pearl Street Mall, as well as on 14th Street from Spruce to Pearl and operates Saturday from 10 am - 9 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm.

Speaking of art, don't miss the final days of downtown's inaugural Buffaloes of Boulder.  Artists from the Boulder community were invited to create works of art on a buffalo shape (made of plywood) which have been on display throughout the summer in planters and in front of businesses throughout the downtown district. Rumor has it the herd may be converging on the Boulder County Courthouse Lawn over Fall Fest weekend (those buffaloes love live music!).  Buffaloes will be auctioned off from August 9 until September 12 at 5pm through an online auction for the public to take these gorgeous specimens home.

A great event for families, or anyone who enjoys spending time outside in the gorgeous fall weather, join us for the 2021 Fall Festival as we celebrate the kick-off of fall in picturesque Downtown Boulder.  And don't forget: Free parking Saturday and Sunday in the City of Boulder Parking Garages!

Admission to Fall Fest is free and includes all concert performances and children's activities (see Children's Activities page for details).  Beer and Wine are $5, Margaritas are $8.  Food prices vary - see vendors for details and menus.

Please Remember: pets are not allowed on the Pearl Street Mall per City of Boulder ordinance.
