Join the race for a cure at the 11th Annual Run for the Ring 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, August 2, 2025, benefiting the Children’s Diabetes Foundation! Held at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado, this event brings together patients, supporters, and running enthusiasts to run for the brass ring — a cure for type 1 diabetes. The professionally-timed race follows a USATF-certified course, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities, including walkers and strollers. The Kids’ Zone, opening at 8:00 AM, will offer bounce houses, mazes, and other exciting outdoor activities. After the awards ceremony, kids ages 2-10 can dash through the Kids Fun Run, cheered on by loved ones armed with squirt guns for extra fun!

Located in beautiful Nederland, CO, just a short drive up Boulder Canyon, the carousel is a special place with an amazing story… From March through May, you can join in the campaign for Mayor and vote for Lion, Dragon, or Pig!
