What our organization offers:
Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
PARI's Summer STEM and Space Exploration Camps are nestled in the mountains of the Pisgah National Forest at a historic, former NASA facility. Campers can use NASA-built instruments to study celestial objects, map and image nebulae, supernova remnants, or your favorite Messier Object, and delve into the mysteries of our universe. When camps are not in session, PARI holds stargazing events through the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Please check our Events/Calendar page for more information.

PARI’s summer STEM, space exploration, and astronomy camp programming is designed to inspire your young scientist’s curiosity, passion, and confidence to discover something extraordinary. We give campers experiences that encourage deeper thinking and problem solving skills while finding opportunities for comradery, adventure, and fun in the incredible Pisgah Forest region.

Let our dark, star filled skies fill you with wonder as we guide you through the tools and processes that professional scientists and engineers use to explore the universe.  Camps focused on research let you stretch your abilities to uncover something new and delve into the unknown.  Scenario based camps challenge you to solve problems and prepare for the unexpected through adventure and exploration.  Visit our website to find out more about this summer’s offerings for high school and middle school aged campers
