One of the most iconic images from the silent film era, and arguably the stunt that paved the way for the cliffhanging, skyscraper-loving action heroes of today, is the image of actor Harold Lloyd dangling from the hands of a clock on the side of an office building. Released in April 1923, "Safety Last!" represented the pinnacle of Lloyd's career as a major Hollywood star. As we celebrate its 100th anniversary, this cinematic classic is rejuvenated in a special and memorable presentation. Join us to experience "Safety Last!" in a whole new light as organist Andrew Peters revives the film with organ improvisation. The film will be projected onto a large screen, allowing audiences to relish this iconic work by Lloyd while the organ's resonance enhances the storytelling.
