Space Engineering Expedition for Girls

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/01/2022
The Artemis lunar mission is on the horizon, we are currently exploring Mars with those amazing rovers, the ISS orbits every 90 minutes with many female research scientists aboard, and to top it off NASA will be launching the first female astronaut to set foot on the moon. It has never been a better time for girls to dream big and reach for the stars! Join us for our week long engineering camp and help your student open her mind to the possibility of what space exploration can offer.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

We will introduce your budding scientist to the engineering design process through hands-on STEM activities geared towards understanding the science behind the space industry’s most mind-blowing technologies.

Rockets, heat shields, rovers, Lunar/Martian landers, and more are in store for those young ladies brave enough to dip their toe into the world of space exploration and see the endless possibilities that await them!
