The Amelia Project | Wings Over the Rockies
The Amelia Project was created after Amelia Rose Earhart’s symbolic completion of her flight around the world on July 11th, 2014. The exhibit displays various artifacts from her trip, most notably the headset used during the flights and a signed globe by Governor Hickenlooper. The journey roughly followed the same path taken by her namesake, Amelia Earhart, who tragically disappeared on July 24th, 1937.
