Danse Etoile Ballet premiers two original ballets, “In A Dialogue with Gravity” and “Matisse’s Gardens” inspired by the art of architecture and the art of Henri Matisse at the Dairy Arts Center on June 3-4.

Danse Etoile Ballet presents “In A Dialogue with Gravity” and “Matisse’s Gardens” at the Dairy Arts Center on June 3-4. Inspired by the art of architecture, “In A Dialogue with Gravity” explores the connection between architecture, dance, and people. In the second act, “Matisse’s Gardens,” the forms, colors, and space of Matisse’s famed cutouts form the foundation for this contemporary ballet, a mural in motion through the canvas of the stage.
