The Love Letter Project

Help us create 400 Valentine's for the kids at Children's Hospital in Highland's Ranch! This year, we will collect cards from January 24 through February 7 to support Children’s Hospital Colorado at their south campus in Highlands Ranch (C470 and Lucent). To participate, simply create a special card and drop it off at Aspen Grove, we will deliver them all to the hospital in time for Valentine’s Day! Gather your friends, family, clubs, and organizations to join the project! Our goal is to create over 400 cards to reach every patient in the hospital!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
For the third year, Aspen Grove will host, The Love Letter Project, collecting Valentine’s to distribute to those in need in our local community.
LOVE LETTERS
Here are the details:
- Pick up a FREE card making kit from Rox Arts Gallery to get started, or make your own cards at home. (See our website for tips on suggested messaging and decorating.)
- Drop your completed card in the Love Letter Mailbox located outside Avalon Salon and Day Spa.*
- All letters must be received by February 7 so we can get them to the hospital in time to be distributed for Valentine’s Day!
*Got a large donation of cards from your organization or club? Drop them at Rox Arts Gallery directly (vs squeezing them into the mailbox slot!)
CARD MAKING WORKSHOP – Red Hen Createry will be hosting a FREE card making workshop on Sunday, January 30th at 1pm and will also be making cards during Story Playtime with Mr. Paul on Friday, January 28 and Friday February 4. See the class schedule for details.
