Pearl Street Arts Fest 2015

Pearl Street Arts Fest (formerly called Open Arts Fest) is a celebration of Boulder’s visual arts unlike any other.

From whimsical and modern sculptures to traditional watercolors and oils & more, Pearl Street Arts Fest is a beautiful outdoor gallery nestled in the heart of downtown Boulder on the renowned Pearl Street Mall.

The event takes place Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 19 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Admission to the festival itself is free. Every Saturday and Sunday, City of Boulder Parking Garages are free.  For more parking information click here.

More than 100 artists from around the country gather to display their work ranging from jewelry and paintings to sculpture and recycled-repurposed art.  The event also includes children’s arts activities, interactive performances and much more.

In addition to artisan booths, Clementine Studio will host a kids' art activity tent Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn and interactive art will be presented on 14th Street, both north and south of Pearl Street.  

Festival Hours:

Saturday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

There are lots of ways to entertain the kids at Pearl Street Arts Fest, as well as options to interact with art.

Join Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance at their aerial rig for performances - and the opportunity to try taking flight yourself!

Flyers of all ages are welcome - but kids: make sure you bring mom or dad with you to grant permission!

Called "one of the most creative community projects ever" by The Atlantic, Before I Die is an interactive public art project originally created by artist Candy Chang in her neighborhood in New Oreleans.
Since then, more than 550 Before I Die walls have been created in 73 countries and 36 languages around the world. Visit the wall at arts fest on 14th Street, south of Pearl to share what you want to do
before you die.

Presented at the Pearl Street Arts Fest byConversations on Death, a Boulder-based non-profit dedicated to encouraging meaningful and compelling explorations of the process of dying, death and grief.
