Senac Creek Nature Center at Aurora Reservoir
Entrance to the nature center and reservoir property is FREE if visiting the nature center ONLY.
The Senac Creek Nature Center features a stunning photography display, and encourages educational play with electronic games, hand-made puzzles and animal costumes. Learn about Aurora ecosystems, food chains and the importance of water to our natural and human communities through interactive, rotating exhibits.

Wed.-Fri., noon - 4:30 p.m.
Sat. and Sun., 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Closed Mon. and Tue.

Facilities
The Senac Creek Nature Center shares facilities with Aurora Reservoir and include a playground, modern restrooms and showers, a snack bar, handicap accessible fishing pier, SCUBA diving area and pet pick-up-bag stations.

Aurora Reservoir is a great place to view waterbirds including gulls, geese, grebes, ducks, herons and plovers. Anglers test the water for trout, perch, wipers, walleye and catfish. Kids love the crawdads and other aquatic critters!
