In the 1880s, El Paso County boasted the largest population of sheep in the state at 120,000 critters. This produced about 560,000 pounds of fleece!

Watch as the sheep are sheared with traditional and modern equipment and see a demonstration of expert the sheep dog handling. There will also be carding, spinning, dying, and weaving demonstration. Visit the General Store to buy gifts made from the very own sheep, June 6, 2020!
