Morning Activities at Majestic View (8-10 a.m.)

Recreational Walk-meet at the Nature Center at 8:45 , walk at 9
Enjoy the views of nature with Councilmember and community volunteer Mark McGoff. Bring your water and walking shoes for this 2-4 mile walk through and around Majestic View Park.
Accessible Trail Walk- meet at the Nature Center at 8:45 , walk at 9
Beginners, strollers and everyone in between is welcome to join storyteller Dean Bernard to walk the 1/3-1 mile paved walk along Majestic View Park.
Bicycle Trail/Street Rides-meet at the upper lot at 8:45, Ride at 9
Our traditional Trails Day bike rides are back with Bike Friendly Arvada! The 5-mile family ride and the 15-mile recreational ride will meet at the upper parking lot in Majestic View Park, near 72nd and Carr St. Go on an adventure through Arvada, so bring your helmet and get rolling.
Trails Day Service Project-meet at the Nature Center at 8-9:30
Help keep Arvada’s trails beautiful with a trail service project. Clear invasive weeds, pick up litter, and perform basic trail maintenance on one of the Majestic View trails. All ages are welcome to help with different tasks; tools and lemonade provided.
Outdoor Yoga class-meet in the Majestic View Gardens at 8:15, class starts at 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Join an Apex Park & Recreation District instructor for an hour of beginner’s yoga.
Activities at Two Ponds NWR (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Get excited for a variety of family activities at Two Ponds, including:
- Face painting
- Live Raptors from Nature’s Educators
- Live snakes from Majestic View Nature Center
- Mr. Bones, the walking Dinosaur
- Family activities, such as nature games, crafts and more
- Free refreshments
- Self-guided walks throughout Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge
Visit anytime during 10-2 to partake in the festivities, additional parking at the Arvada Health Center Optical. No dogs are allowed at the refuge.
