Dinosaur Discovery Day: Geohazards and Geocaching! at Dinosaur Ridge

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/12/2015
This day will feature special guests focusing on Earth's geological hazards such as volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, and more! We'll also have a special area where you'll be able to rent a GPS unit and go on a hunt for hidden geocaches!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Scientists will be stationed along the trail to interpret the fossil and geological sites to visitors that hike up. Hiking is free. An optional bus ride will be available to those that would like to visit the sites without walking the whole Ridge at a cost of $4/person (3 and under free). For more information, contact: Tom Moklestad for more information: Tom_Moklestad@dinoridge.org
