Central Nebraska is the Sandhill Crane capital of the world. Join South Platte Park guides on a magical journey to Kearney, Nebraska to see and hear hundreds of thousands of these prehistoric birds. There you will see them feeding in the Platte River before completing their migration north. Experience the dancing, fly-ins and fly-outs of these massive, vocal flocks at dawn and dusk, and look for the elusive and rare whooping cranes mixed in the crowds.
